Marcus Cage is the Director of Operations for Divine Works Education and Training (E&T). Divine Works E&T is a professional coaching and training organization that provides interactive education and training for youth through a method called, “Transformational Training.” Mr. Cage and his organization help teens build self-esteem, character and social skills to establish and maintain healthy relationships. His courses teach youth how to use social awareness, interpersonal and self-management skills to achieve school and life success. He helps teenagers realize their full potential.
Marcus has been training in the Chicagoland area for over a span of thirteen years. After working at Joliet Job Corps for 5 years as a career preparation instructor and an outreach/admissions coordinator, Marcus wanted to be able to directly impact the youth of the Joliet community. This led him back to his alma mater, Joliet Central High School. Throughout his journey, he has trained and volunteered with the AC Green Show (Success Sessions), National Hookup for Black Women, Joliet Job Corps, Aunt Martha’s Health and Wellness (Park Forest) , KB Hoops (Joliet), Unity Faith Movement (Romeoville), Naperville Bridge School, Bolingbrook High School, Washington Junior High in addition to several other organizations and causes. Marcus has also been featured on television and radio. He has made guest appearances on TBN (Joy In Our Town), Lean Into Inspiration (WJOL 1340AM) and 1570AM Vibe Time Radio.
Marcus has worked as a Certified Substitute Teacher for Joliet Township, Certified Anger Management Specialist, Co-Sponsor of the Black Student Union (Joliet Central High School) and a Community Rehabilitative Specialist with the Center for Family Services in Aurora, Illinois. He was also an Assistant Freshmen Basketball Coach for Joliet Central High School and a trainer/facilitator for the H.E.A.R.T. foundation in Bolingbrook.
Marcus holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from DeVry University where his concentration was small business management and entrepreneurship.
