We gave away a couple of book bags today!
These two young folks were able to guess the three areas of focus for the new school year.
Can you guess the three?
Empowering Humanity To Realize Its Full Potential.
We’re excited to have the opportunity to encourage our youth on 815 Day 2023.
🚨Parents…🚨
Before this school year starts, remind your kids that trying to “fit in” can lead them to bad decisions. This can derail them for achieving their short and long term goals.🥅

Preparing for the school year (4th Quarter Mentality).
Now is the time to get your kids ready for the school year… Whether they’re in junior high, high school or college, focusing on a few areas in the beginning of and throughout the school year will increase the likelihood of academic success.

Today, many families walked away with book-bags, school supplies, a $20 gift card, a free ticket to the upcoming family fun festival and…
Hopefully, a new outlook on life and what community looks like.
If we had to do it all over again…
We would do it again for God and the community.
Yesterday we conducted a brief history lesson on Magic Johnson. We highlighted his recent accomplishment of becoming a part owner of the Washington Commanders.
It’s important to note that the sport of basketball gave him a way to provide for his family, BUT… The success he experienced and the influence he obtained through the sport of basketball opened other pathways for his family and others that have/will follow in his footsteps.

Demonstrated by the kids in our mentoring program today. One of the toughest things with raising and mentoring kids is getting them to understand how to present themselves in public and the importance of presenting themselves in a respectful manner.
Overall, these people did an OUTSTANDING job
Shout out to team leads Marcus Gallegos and Jada Cooley.
