Time and Chance

It is said that you are either moving forward or moving backwards. Because time is designed for you to advance forward, you cannot move backwards. What appears to be moving backward is actually losing pace with time.

Time + Chance = Opportunity

There are 8,736 hours in a year! Time is spent and cannot be recouped. Money is transferred, meaning it can be replenished. Time is our greatest asset because once your time is spent you cannot get it back.

Time: a non-spatial continuum that is measured in terms of events which succeed one another from past through present to future.

Time: is the measured or measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continues.

What are you doing with your time? Where are you going?

Time is designed to advance you to chance, which creates an opportunity.

Chance: to take place, come about, or turn out by chance (merriam-webster.com/dictionary)

Chance:  A situation favoring some purpose: opportunity

Let’s look at John 5: 1-4 “After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” KJV

In the scripture, “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water,” season in the Strong’s Concordance means: (Strong’s G2540 – kairos) pronounced kī-ro’s (Key) –

a) a fixed and definite time, the time when things are brought to crisis, the decisive epoch waited for.

b) opportune or seasonable time

The people in this scripture had an opportunity to be healed, because time advanced to chance.

Building Your Brand (Part 1)

Every person on this earth is known for something, good or bad, or worse – mediocre. When a business is known for something, it’s called their Brand. When they do well with it, it is called Brand Equity.

The greatest example of Brand Equity lies in 1st Kings Chapter 10, the account of King Solomon in the splendor of his kingdom. His kingdom was so glorious and talked about; the Queen of Sheba had to come see what all the hubbub was about. Verses 4 and 5 say,

“And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built, And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.”

Here, a Queen from a great and mighty kingdom, whom she controlled, noticed the appearance of his servants. They weren’t dressed like the average servant. They were dressed as if living in abundance.

It would be wise for anyone interested in succeeding in business to study the entire chapter, but I wanted to directly point out what the Queen had to say in verses 7 and 8:

“Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard. Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.”

Not only did the entire kingdom have the appearance of great wealth and abundance, but even those in servitude were happy. How often do you hear that these days?

The chapter goes on to detail all of Solomon’s treasures and reign, the navy ships which continually brought in more wealth … It was a time of peace and greatness that God had granted him. How did Solomon gain this Brand Equity? The answer: Through Wisdom. In business today, we need to use wisdom to create a brand for ourselves. Anyone can be smart, but who is wise? Who can lead, where others will be happy to follow? Perhaps Solomon knew something we stress in Business Management today, success starts with how you treat those who are laboring on your behalf.

Blessings Always!

Keeping Up With Joneses (Part 2)

Marketing

Wikipedia defines “Marketing” as the process by which companies CREATE customer interest in goods or services. It generates the strategy that underlies sales techniques, business communication, and business development.

CLARIFICATION: Marketing CREATES customer interest in goods or services that may or may not be needed by the customer. It generates the strategy that under- lies (triggers, motivates or inspires) sales techniques, business communication and business development.

Be mindful that the ability to create was originated by The Creator. Creativity is a Kingdom Mandate that should be fully utilized by God’s people. One reason why some of us have yet to activate our creative ability is because we are consumed by the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life.

Note: When the purpose for creativity is diverted to an alternative purpose, people abuse creativity and creativity abuses people.

So…

If companies can CREATE or PEAK an interest (which laid dormant in our hearts) then the customer is more willing to buy a particular product. When carnal consumption outweighs Kingdom consumption and creativity then poverty is the end result.

We must allow the PURIFICATION process to run its course for the End of Poverty is the Beginning of Purposeful Prosperity. Our hearts must be cleansed.

Poverty is not our portion nor is Keeping Up With the Joneses.

However, if they (the companies) can sell you on an idea, then you are more likely to buy the product.

How is this accomplished?

Keeping Up With the Joneses

I admonish you to forward this to your loved ones and those who are closest to you. Now is the time for us to be free, but we must first change the way we think. (sources and citations to follow)

Keeping Up With the Joneses” is a relatively popular cliché that has been adapted into the world’s system as a mediocre-normality. Hearsay associates the origination and popularity of the phrase with distinct periods of history that span almost seventy years. It is said that in the 1840’s Elizabeth Schermerhorn Jones, an heiress of John Astor spent massive sums of money in attempts to sustain her large mansion and to entertain her colleagues. Another common account of “Keeping Up with the Jones” can be traced back to a 1913 comic strip created by Arthur Momand. The Joneses were portrayed as neighbors to the McGinis family who were the main characters of the comic strip. The Joneses were said to be “Objects of Envy.

With being said…

Society is still attempting to keep up with the Joneses. The question is “Who are the Joneses keeping up with.”

ANSWER: The originators of the products.

Every time a new innovative product is introduced into the market, another new innovative product is closely behind the previous one. When this situation occurs (and it occurs often), the price (not the value) of the initial product offering decreases thus enticing the consumer to purchase the cheaper (in price) product. However, when a new feature or service is added to the previous product it, (the previous product) is marketed as a new product. Soon thereafter, the want (or desire) for the old product offering decreases. The result of these occurrences is a never ending cycle of Keeping Up With the Joneses

Keeping Up With the Joneses is actually a “LUST” issue.

1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Often times we have not even had the opportunity to gain full mastery or understanding of product before the new product is introduced. So, why are we so enamored by the mystic of new products?

ANSWER: Marketing

The Shepherds Heart

From the time God called Abraham out of his land of nativity he has always dealt with his people Israel as a Shepherd desiring to lead them to a place of rest and peace. Now he is dealing with every man in his heart, yet his intentions remain the same.
Psalms 23:1 says~ The Lord is MY SHEPHERD I shall not want.
The source of lack many times for kingdom people can be traced back to a disconnection from the voice of our Shepherd. As a shepherd Christ goes before us and leads us out with his Voice to a place of provision, to a living fountain of waters that spring forth plumply watering our lives. His desire for you has always been the same: NO LACK! Many times we can’t fathom the IDEA of our lives being without lack because we have experienced it so much, however the Shepherds heart for you: is LIFE and that more ABUNDANTLY!
One of a Shepherd’s primary responsibilities entails leading his flock to a place of pasture (Provision, for he goes BEFORE the flock and leads them with his voice, see note on Provision). A pasture represents a place of rest, where we can feed freely and cease from labor. Its a place of provision. When you have reached this place by following HIS voice within, you will find that your financial life is being sustained by HIM. You will have no need of the world’s system because your needs are being met by the Good Shepherd. This indeed is a place of Rest and a place HE desires you to feed in. For he sought you out that he might bring you IN (into a place of REST). He is among us in this hour to deliver us from all the places where we had been scattered (Debt, lack, want, not enough) and he is gathering us unto himself to feed us that we might feed others (we are blessed to be a blessing) and that there might be one sheep fold over which he is the Shepherd. Therefore hearken unto the voice of the Shepherd that He might lead you to a place of rest, a place where there is no financial lack!

A Time to Place

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – 5

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain

Time (along with salvation) is one of the few things we get in this life that we don’t have to pay for. This is the reason why most of us don’t place value on time.

WE DON’T PLACE VALUE ON TIME….

WE DON’T PLACE VALUE ON TIME….

WE DON’T PLACE VALUE ON TIME….

Often times we place value on time after an opportunity has passed us by. This is why procrastination has become a mediocre-norm of many. We procrastinate on the little things and expect God to release great Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Financial, and Social Wealth to us, but we are not stewards over the little or even the free things He has give to us. We have yet to come into full mastery of time because it is an intangible resource, however this intangible resource brings tangible resources into manifestation. If you are not a steward of time, you are going to have a difficult time living UP to God’s full potential for your life. If you are not a steward of time, then you cannot come into full mastery of your finances or any other resource that God has given you.

It is not about the natural perfection of stewardship, it is about the maturation of our stewardship ability.

The best things in life are for free, but are only available if you accept the invitation – FREEDOM

To much is given, much is required…

A Kingdom Contrast of Job and Career (Part 2)

“Sky is not the limit, you are.”

A Job Mentality Example:

Johnny Cage works 10 to 12hr shifts;5 days a week {from 8am- 6pm or 8am8pm}. Mr. Cage has little time to pursue any outside interests or spend time with his family. He never really gets the opportunity to enjoy his earnings and when he does, the time he has is miniscule at best.

In contrast, a “CAREER” can be understood as a position {or calling} whereas an individual has discovered his or her gifting and is operating in the grace of that endowment advancing themselves (Spiritually, Mentally, Physically, Financially & Sociallyand those who are connected to him or her.

A “CAREER” is NOT an everyday, routine 9 to 5 with no spontaneity or FREEDOM. If this is your current situation, you may have a job or you may have turned your “CAREER” into a job.

There are many SELF-EMPLOYED individuals who have succumb to the “9 to 5” syndrome, turning a potential career into a job because of their lack of  enthusiasm and interest in the perfection of their craft. They ignore the importance of continuous education, networking and community restoration . Their efforts are in anticipation of a check and a check ONLY!

Good morning! If this is you, YOU have a JOB, thus negating the spirit of entrepreneurship. You really have a job with more responsibilities in addition to OVERHEAD (expenses) which can result in an increased level of stress equating to discontent, discouragement and stagnation.

Do what you do because you love what you do.

Blessings…
