Dollars Per Hour

“Traditional lines are drawn in the sand, but foundational lines are drawn in concrete.” – Marcus Cage

Key#1 : No individual actually “Works” eight hours a day. We would have to be involved in some form of organizational activity every second, minute and hour which is unrealistic. However, investing one to three hours in producing a work is not.

Key#2: Never attached your identity to a position because every and any position is subject to change.

Key# 3: Do not allow the routine of daily tasks and activities to seperate you from purpose. Seperate yourself from past, TRADITIONAL thinking concerning your job. This is your assignment.

Dollars Per Hour…

The expression “Dollars Per Hour” serves as an ORGANIZATIONAL GUIDELINE for budgeting and accounting purposes. It is not to be perceived as a limitation in relation to you, the position (as an employee) you hold or the functions associated with the position. The cliche’ “Dollars Per Hour” does not represent how much an individual is worth nor is it symbolic of a person’s value. It reaffirms a “WORKMAN’S MENTALITY” whereas we are focused on doing and not becoming. In this paradigm we view our daily activities and duties as TASKS instead of responsibilities which causes us to respond incorrectly.

Dollars Per Hour says, “If you are not physically present at your workplace then you cannot earn wages.” This thought motivates many to pursue the option of OVERTIME.

OVERTIME (per se’) occurs after the traditional guidleline of the eight hour work day has been surpassed. This is a guideline that has become a MIND-SET and has become a monument of Amer- I CAN Culture. This is the reason why the “Salary Option” is advantegeous for an organization. An employees cannot go beyond a “SALARY CAP” when she or he is providing services (ONLY) in relation to the position and function. We must extend ourselves pass this limitation to progess in the completion of our assignments.

Eight hours…

The eight-hour work day is a traditional norm accepted by society as the status quo. If we shortened the “Work” day we would be forced to become more PRODUCTIVE, and less BUSY! We must go to the WORKPLACE with the MIND-SET of PRODUCING QUALITY PRODUCTS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Exceeding Expectations…

Dollars Per Hour tells the employee how much is available in the budget to distribute in exchange for the minimum expectations that has been determined for a specific position and the functions that are attached to that position.

Minimum expectations… OR JUST ENOUGH!

This is the reason why we must perfect our service (SERVICE)….
We must cultivate the gift (that is not ours) that is on the inside of us to result in a PRODUCT.
WE MUST BECOME PRODUCT DEVELOPERS!

We must exceed the expectations and goals set forth bythe organization to depict a “COMPANY” that is and has the ability to remain profitable (to its community) during any economical climate.

Goals produce focus, dreams produce power.

Lastly…

Dollars Per Hour is based upon time, not VALUE.
This can only measure productivity when it is used in a manufacturing (ASSEMBLY-LINE) or warehousing capacity.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

A J.O.B.S. perspective on meetings….

A J.O.B.S. perspective on meetings….

Meetings are necessary but the frequency of our meetings must be tempered.
Meetings provide a sense of importance and BELONGING (this is one of the reasons why people desire to meet so much).

Meetings transpire to address priority issues, however priorities issues are consistent to the personality or personalities of those delivering the information.

We must ask ourselves…

Does the issues that are deemed, “PRIORITY” of priority to the whole or the part (the individual)?

Inconsistency in the distribution of information results in a vision that is DIVIDED… An individual cannot afford to separate herself/himself from the whole.

It costs the individual and the organization…

This is called DIVISION…

What’s important to the individual may not be as important to the organization as a WHOLE.

Too many details.
Those individuals who submit information according to their own individual preference and agenda focusing on THEIR PART forgetting about the WHOLE.

Question to ponder:

What is the solution and how do we implement the solution?

Once again 80/20 principle is in full effect!

We must rapidly discern the root of an issue in order for the solution to be revealed. If we never get to the root of the issue then we will be placing band-aids on areas that are still infected. We don’t need any quick fixes. A wise master builder invests her/his time, “CASH”, effort and energy on the foundation. The house is built from the ground up.

Status Quo
Status Quo – The existing state of an individual or condition before war.

Let’s paradigm Shift…

Status Quo has endowed us with the ability to meet unnecessarily at times because we have fallen victim to a culture of routine mediocrity. As pioneers we must challenge the status quo to save time by being strategic in our application of different methods and form of suggestion.

Remember: Never dishonor those who have been called to oversee us in our respective workplaces.

Humility is key…

Last, but surely not least…

We must not be top-heavy (head knowledge) in the over accumulation of information that cannot readily be applied.

Eat the meat and spit out the bones…

Many of priority items can be caught by the spirit, we do not need interpret everything. This is why many people suffer from headaches and have lack of focus in the workplace. We must utilize our head knowledge to interpret information that should be interpreted by the Spirit.

But… You must first make room to receive.

Know the Script

Know the Script…

When you become a part of an organization you must become acquainted with the language of that organization.

The language of an organization is how the entity communicates. Communication is possibly the biggest stepping stone or stumbling block any company will encounter.

Communication is an expression of language… Internally and externally…
Verbally, Physically (facial expression or body position) or in WRITTEN FORM.

Written form can seen in the form of a script…

The script can be found in the employee handbook. Before you add to or try to remove the script, you must learn, know and HONOR the story line. You must also HONOR those who have come before you and those who are set in positions of authority. These individuals dispense the script accordingly (in conversation and indeed).

The script is line upon line… And assists in building a solid foundation…
Invest your time and money (CASH) in the foundational principles…

Key: You must know your lines, and be able to improvise. Many situations that you will encounter won’t go according to the script, but if you know your lines you will be able to make solid decisions in any unforeseeable circumstance.

When you are in the field, you may not be able to refer to the script by handbook.
This is why you must familiarize yourself with your lines INSIDE OUT.

When you know the script, the communication of the organization will no longer be a foreign language to you… You be able to hear, understand and respond in your native language..

First you have to leave the block..
You must leave your country… to go into another time zone!

Story-lines…

All movies have storylines, actors and actresses. Many story lines convey the end (OBJECTIVE / GOAL) at the beginning. Each actor or actress must know the script in order to properly convey the storyline. The words (or script) are translated into ACTION (The plot).

If they haven’t mastered the script, there will be multiple TAKES.

TAKE 1! – TAKE 2! – TAKE 3! – TAKE 4!

Multiple takes occur when actors and actresses don’t know their lines.
Poor lighting can be an issue…

They have yet to understand…
They have yet to perfect their craft..
They have yet to perfect their serve…

When multiple takes occur, this adds excessive time to the production of the film.

And time is MONEY (CASH)!

Vision & Mission…

Vision & Mission…

Every organization, entity and organism has a mission and a vision.

Prayerfully…

These descriptions are commonly known as mission and vision statements.

The mission is the “PURPOSE” for the existence of an enterprise (business or person).
Why and how it does what it does?

The vision is where the enterprise (business or person) is going.
What does it (he/she) plans to become?

KEYNOTE: Never connect yourself to any person, place or thing that does not have a clear vision or mission. If there is no realization of both then where exactly is this circumstance going to take you?

NOTE TO SELF: The vision is realized before the mission. Many have yet to become conscious of their mission because the weight of life has placed a scale upon their eyes. This prevents them from “SEEING” or “PERCEIVING THE VISION.”

The vision must be RE-called, RE- cognized and identified before the mission manifests…

The blinders must be taken off through REVELATION…

This principle holds true, especially when we are discussing J.O.B.S.

As a suggestion: An individual should discover her/his person before deciding to pair with an organization. Notice, we didn’t utilize common terminology such as: “Find a job” or “Work for a corporation.”

You must be able to “HEAR” in order for this situation to transpire. You MUST be connected to a Prophetic Voice.

DISPELLING THE MYTHS…

Myth #1- We don’t find jobs… The correct JOB is revealed when a measure of our TRUE IDENTITY is realized. Job opportunities are always present. The question is can we “SEE” them and is the job or “ASSIGNMENT” fit for the PURPOSE God has downloaded inside of US. We dis-cover opportunities!

Myth #2 – A corporation is merely a piece of paper, and we work with the ORGANIZATION therefore we are, “CO-LABORERS.” We submit our vision and mission to those of the organization in order for their vision and mission to be fulfilled.

In that our individual vision and mission will be fulfilled through SUB-MISSION AND OBEDIENCE.

So…

When attempting to pair yourself with any organization, entity or organism have a clear grasp of what their vision and mission is, and what yours is as well.

Blessings!

Everyone is an ASSET (PT. 1)

Everyone is an ASSET (PT. 1)

All ASSETS are in the form of inventory…

In some instances, inventory can be viewed as “RAW” material. It is not by coincidence that “RAW” is “WAR” spelled backwards; many of us WAR against our true identity…

No wonder why becoming an ASSET is a PROCESS that is on-going.

FYI: HEAT is always involved in any process…

Continuing on…

RAW material “PROCESSED” results in a Finished Product…

A Finished Product can be distributed to the market place, AFTER ITS COMPLETION…

The market place is not limited to your specified job location or the industry God has called you to, it is present everywhere you go. So, when you go to the store to purchase your hair products, groceries or clothing you are in the market place.

There is where service, transactions and exchanges take place…
There is where the DEMAND is…

We are all ASSETS, though some of the behaviors we display can prove to be liabilities that hinder growth and development for ourselves and those we come into contact with. We must separate these liabilities from the ASSET.

Realize that some of the behaviors we display are not a part of our ORIGINAL GENETIC MAKEUP!

The reason why some of us have yet to be promoted NATURALLY is because we haven’t come to terms with The Divorce Agreement. Divorce is a SEPERATION; Separating the liabilities from the assets will allow us to perfect our serve (or service) which results in the exchange of PRODUCTS.

For the benefit and enjoyment of OTHERS…

Community Service

Community Service is service without compensation… MONETARILY!

Often times, we do not receive immediate “CASH” from community service…

BUT…

“Money” as “Talent” is dispensed according to the demand that is present…

We perform community service because of the demand in a locale or region..

SPIRITUALLY… MENTALLY… PHYSICALLY…

We perform community service out of the posture of (AGAPE) love…
We must be sure that our hearts are in the right place when performing these duties.

FIRST BECOME (AGAPE), THEN PRODUCE (AGAPE) THROUGH SERVICE.

Community Service is “Customer Service.”
Service is in DEMAND, therefore we supply service.
Produce is in DEMAND. therefore we supply product.
Services that produce products are in demand NOW…
The DEMAND will allow the people to be set free…

Community Service begins at home…

Individually – Within oneself.
Jointly – Together with your spouse.
Corporately – Within the Body of Christ.
Nationally – Within US (The United States of America).
Internationally – Within the world as WE enter new nations.

Community Service will cause US to BECOME RICH!

SPIRITUALLY…
MENTALLY…
PHYSICALLY…
SOCIALLY..
FINANCIALLY…

In order to become rich in ANY CAPACITY you must possess an valid I.D. (IDENTIFICATION).

Transformation is a destination that is never reached, therefore we must continue to press toward the mark of the high calling for the bar is continually being raised.

EVERY IDENTIFICATION CARD HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE.

#1.You cannot become rich in any area of life if you are not cognizant of who you are.
#2.You cannot become rich in any area of life if you are not supplying a demand.
#3.You cannot become rich in any area of life if you are not in touch with the community.

The community can be…

At home, at the church, at the worplace or at school.

The INTEREST we have in OTHERS will allow US to – enter – rest.

What is God demanding of you in this hour?

Enlightenment in Entertainment

(A Review of In Time; starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried)

There is ALWAYS enlightenment in entertainment though this is very dependent on what lens you’re looking through. We should always look for “LIGHT” in “DARKNESS,” we must be able to pull spiritual principles out of natural circumstances.

Continuing on….

These are a few of the key principles I took from this film:

#1 – Time is MONEY; better known as “CURRENCY” or “CASH.”

#2 – If you can control the people’s time, you can keep them in BONDAGE. This is the reason why some of us continually “WORK” and are “WORKING,” instead of producing a WORK. We should be “WORKING” from a place of REST. This does not occur unless you know your IDENTITY.

#3 – “Wealthy” or “Rich” people enjoy themselves, and are not in a rush nor are they “PRESSED” for time because “Wealthy” or “Rich” people prioritize according to their morals, values and GOALS.

#4 – Too much time in the wrong hands will crash the market. Many times individuals with too much time on their hands don’t use their time wisely because the world’s system has programmed them how and what to spend their time on. In many cases, freedom leads to further bondage. The MAJORITY see time as an “EXPENDITURE” rather than an “INVESTMENT.”

#5 – I’ll give you ten minutes for an hour. EXCHANGE: A lifetime of experience can be exchanged in minutes through relationship with those who possess knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

# 6 – A society that takes time is the norm (status quo) in comparison to a society that gives away time. Laborious factory, warehouse, retail settings, etc. take time away from us (per hour) in exchange for compensation. When this becomes a part of our daily routine, we tend to fall asleep. A little sleep, a little slumber…. POVERTY sneaks upon us unaware. The going rate (per hour) is a standardize rate for a standardize people that originate from a standardized system to do the SAME THING. Thus, they are easily replaceable.

“In time” is a film that I recommend to any and all for recreational and training purposes. It will bring much enlightenment to your life. Only if you have time…

Blessings…
