A Finished Work

For starters…

We must expediently define the difference between a “Work” and a “Job” to make up the deficit mentally and physically that is presently existent in the Earth.

  • A “JOB” is a position within a company or organization where you receive monetary compensation (not limited to $) in exchange of services and products.
  • A “WORK” is THE position in His Presence whereas the manifestation of who He called us to become reaches fulfillment from what He already did on the cross (A FINISHED WORK).

Key: The progression of your career is the discovery of WORK (in terms of calling, purpose, fulfillment of assignment) deriving from A MYSTERYTHAT WAS PREVIOUSLY HIDDEN FOR YOU TO DISCOVER.

Society tends to follow those who are SLEEPWALKING; those of worldly notoriety are usually blinded by PRIDE, POSITIONS AND POSSESSIONS. However, mysteries that are hidden for us will be revealed to us at the opportune (or appointed) time.

Today is that opportune time…

You must realize that your salary or wage is a TIP in comparison to the ocean of wealth that God desires to release to you.

However…

For something to be transferred (OR RELEASED) it gives us the thought or connotation that the thing being transferred to someone else is for a SPECIFIC PURPOSE or was being misused or mishandled by its previous owner. Therefore, if it is to be given by God to someone else, whoever it is He is giving it to must be better than the previous owner. – Pastor Julius Thomas

Immaturity causes us to mismanagement and mishandle resources… BUTTERFINGERS!

We must quickly evict Adam from our residence…

In any and every phase of life.

Bringing to your remembrance: A “WORK” is THE position in His Presence whereas the manifestation of who He called us to become reaches fulfillment from what He already did on the cross (A FINISHED WORK).

So, let’s say that you earn a salary of $90,000 annually. When you were hired (OR CALLED UPON)to fill the position you read the terms of the covenant stating the roles, responsibilities and salary associated with that specific position within that particular organization.

These things (roles, responsibilities and salary) were already spoken, established and written beforehand, your John or Jane Hancock was merely  an agreement with the covenant that was already present. It was just a mystery because it was HIDDEN for you to DISCOVER.

Food for thought: Covenants condescend into contracts when our agendas and job duties overshadow the purpose of the assignment.

 Key: Every time you receive a paycheck, A MEASURE OF WHAT WAS ALREADY SPOKEN, ESTABLISHED AND WRITTEN IS BEING RELEASED TO YOU . MEASURES (OR PORTIONS) ARE CONTINUALLY RELEASED TO YOU AS LONG AS YOU CAN MANAGE THE PRIORITY CONNECTED TO THE AGREEMENT.

WHEW!!!

A FINISHED WORK…

We don’t manage time; we manage the priorities connected to time. Time (in an intangible sense) has no limitations or regard for man’s intentions and motives. Time proceeds without our efforts. The priorities in our lives are connected to passion which originates from PURPOSE. Therefore, if we fail to recognize PURPOSE, then there will be no passion in who we are, what we say and what we do. This mentality quickly turns the “WORK” into a “JOB.”

A Win-Win scenario:

My little sister is fourteen and is an aspiring entrepreneur.Envy (my sister) makes decorative bracelets which consists of an assortment of colors and designs. Though her production costs are low and her bracelets are attractive to the eye, she has one problem: SHE HAS NO CUSTOMERS.

As her big brother, and trainer my job is to listen first, identify the problem supply her with a solution.

With her permission first; We never enter into someone else’s home unwelcomed or unannounced.

Envy: You (Marcus) are the only one that buys my bracelets, I don’t have any other customers. Where do I find the people who may be interested in my product.

KEY: THE PRODUCTS OF YOUR LIFE ARE PRODUCED BY PASSION THOUGH THE PASSION IS CHANNELED AND DIRECTED ON PURPOSE.

Here we go….

Product: Bracelets
Price: $3.00 (USD)
Place: N/A
Promotion: N/A

Though Envy is only fourteen, she is employed part time at a school where she works the concession stand during basketball games. She is paid ten dollars for five hours.

10 dollars/5 hours = $2/per hour, BUT Envy has a PRODUCT FOR PURCHASE.

KEY:ENVY IS AN EMPLOYEE WITH A PRODUCT FOR SALE (OR PURCHASE).

My suggestion to her was:

Her part-time employment venture allows her to be in the presence of MANY POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. However, they don’t know what she has to offer until she presents her product to them.

A Win- Win:

She obtains permission from her manager or whoever the major decision maker is to display her bracelets to the public while she EARNS HER WAGE AT THE CONCESSION STAND. Envy will provide the school with thirty-percent of her (gross) sales transactions.

10 bracelets @ $ 3.00 = $30.00
30% of $30.00 = $9.00

After all is said and done, she will have given the school her time (2 hours), talent (bracelets), and treasure ($9.00).

KEY: Envy utilize clientele that was already present by co-lLABORating with an organization. She does not have to seek something (customers) that is already present.

The same scenario is applicable to your situation…
