And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a goodland and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites,and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

The frustration the lies within you is a groaning for more of God and less of you. It is your soul crying out for more. This is a thirst and a hunger that cannot and will not be satisfied by cars, clothes, cash or even natural promotion. The groaning on the inside of you is a cry that screams, “Identity!” His train fills the temple (you), and there is no room for anything else in the temple but His Presence. God desires to leave His Imprint on the Earth and this will happen through The Imprint that He leaves on those who are sent to touch the Earth. Many are called, but few are chosen!

 An imprint is left on our soul through pressure endured by outside forces.

 When we feel pressure, we must remember that He desires to leave His Imprint on humanity. This only transpires through a FULL COURT PRESS.

 In the midst of the press, we must ask ourselves:

• Who am I?
• Why am I in this job position?
• How did I arrive here?
• What is God calling me to do?
• Who is God calling me to become?

 Often times unanswered questions lead to frustration. Frustration also ensues when what we perceive to be the wrong answer is actually the correct decision. In both cases, this frustration can be reckoned as a divine discontent. There are individuals in the Earth that claim they don’t desire more, and that they don’t desire to lead a people. There are even individuals in the Earth proclaiming an unawareness of their call. At times, this can be the farthest thing from the truth. If we are honest with ourselves, we would undoubtfully admit that deep down in the depths of our being we desire to lead, we desire to advance forward and we desire promotion. Deep calls unto deep, but we still need a foundation to build upon. The question is, “What is the motivation that supplies our desire to become a leader of the pack?”

 Sacrificing through a Press

 It takes a tremendous amount of sacrifice to pioneer through a press, and this is not accomplished without compassion. There is a divine discontent that arises when we refuse to live up to our God-given potential. The daily tests, trials and tribulations are growing pains that are familiar to us all. This press should cause us to respond, and the right response causes a breaking out of the man-made boxes of limitation. In the midst of the press, please consider the following what-if scenarios:

• What if God desires for you to lean more on him?
• What if God is preparing you for a greater release of His Glory?
• What if He’s stripping you so you won’t attach your identity to any position, possession or pleasure outside of His Person?
• What if God is using the foolish things to confound the wise?

 Self-Medication

 In some cases, we self-medicate the groaning on the inside of us with a high dosage of complaining along with a shot of complacency on the rocks (symbolic of stubbornness). However, these homemade remedies wear off because they don’t find their origin in God. Once the medication wears off (which only address the surface), the roller coaster ride of inconsistency continues where it left off.  If you have ever been on a roller coaster ride you can attest to the constant ups and downs. For some this ride of inconsistency is an exhilarating feeling. The feeling of an emotional high is appeasing to our flesh, but when the ride comes to an end we are mentally, physically and emotionally drained. For some, the thought of even going to their respective workplaces is exhausting.

Food for thought: The only thing constant about a roller coaster ride is the regularity of inconsistency.

 What is happening NOW!

 There are times when situation at our workplaces are unexplainable. Instead of going with the flow, we exhaust our energies (our train of thought) trying to ascertain people, places and things that need not be fully understood. This is indeed a life draining exercise of the mind that people across our nation are experiencing on a daily basis.

 Love

It is the Love of God that overshadows the daily tests, trials and tribulations of the workplace. It is His Love that allows us to bear the infirmities of the people we have been sent to. It is the Love of God that provides us with the wisdom, understanding and knowledge necessary for the progression of our personal and professional lives. It is the Love of God that keeps us consistent and faithful to the assignment.

 

 

Wisdom Key: If we have not mastered the basic fundamental principles we will encounter much difficulty in the attempt to advance our careers.

For example, every professional sports team has a “drill day” that consists of basic fundamental exercises that serve as preparation for game day. This is a day concentrated on drills ONLY! The proper execution of these exercises makes room for learning and understanding through repetition. Practice makes permanent. ~ Unknown

If we are to advance through the career and personal planning department we must master the basics. This is accomplished by going through the process of basic training. There have been several individuals that have gone before us and trail-blazed a path for us to follow. Our responsibility is to remain in line and in sync with the foundational principles that have already been established.

A JOB can also be viewed as a position within a company or organization where we receive monetary compensation (not limited to paper money) in exchange of services and products. For example, anything that is deemed useful to a customer or consumer can be perceived as monetary compensation or money. Money in essence is merely an exchange of value that is deemed useful to a consumer or customer. The expression of money is not limited to coins or paper. So, if your job presents you with a fifty-dollar gift card as recognition for a year’s worth of service this can be considered as money though it is not is paper form. In addition, if you take it upon yourself to introduce a new policy (that you originated), this can be viewed as money if the policy is deemed useful to the organization.

USEFULNESS = EXCHANGES OR TRANSACTIONS.

Food for thought: A customer is an individual who stands in line to purchase a product, but a consumer is the individual who applies the product that has been purchased.
