It’s okay to have a job…

Image

Hmm….

The other night I watched a teaching talking about how “jobs” are from the devil and how “jobs” are constructed to take us off of our purpose or assignment. Mind you, that this word was released in 2012.

WOW!!!

It’s okay… Thank God for revelation..
It’s okay to have a job. For many this serves as a place of learning, training and most importantly humility.

Food for thought: An individual never gets stuck working a job, she gets stuck in the mentality of working. Many believe their jobs are merely a means of earning an income when in truth that particular job may be the means God is using to prepare them for their assignment. If you come to work to “just do your job” then that is not enough to complete the assignment God has given you. We shouldn’t measure the number of hours invested at the workplace, we measure the quality of fruit produced from the assignment.

For starters, there is no such thing as a “dead” end job. Up until this point, we have fallen victim to this belief because we have not come into an experience that presented us with a revelation of why jobs exist.

Remember this: Work is a NOUN, and a verb.

Work is not just a physical destination; it can be viewed as the distribution of our experience, training, skill and talent that equates to people, products, programs and services. The more quality training we receive, the more that can be shared with customer and consumers. Consequently, the consumers turn into producers of quality information.

I am going to be releasing “Just on the Brink of Success” sometime this year (PRAYERFULLY). The book will provide us with a better understanding of why jobs exists. I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

BLESSINGS!!!!

How to Become Financially Free (A MUST READ!)

Image

Many of us would ask,” How do I become financially free?”

This question can be answered in three simple words: Be Made Whole.

Being “MADE” whole is a process.

John 5:6 – When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Whole translates into the word “hugiés (SG5199)”which means: SOUND, HEALTHY, PURE, whole or wholesome.

Poverty

Poverty is a disease that causes the body much discomfort. Discomfort can cause the body to be paralyzed (or handicapped) which will not allow the body to fully function.

Poverty is also a symptom and sickness that has no place in the body. It is the TRUTH that poverty has no place in the body, however there is still a great multitude of impotent folk who are blind, halt, and withered.

Food for thought: Our money is as much of an expression as it is an extension of who we are. If we CHOOSE to be impotent, blind, halt and withered our finances will reflect our choice.

Wholeness

Wholeness says.”I don’t look for anything outside of me to fill me or make me feel good about who I am.

Wisdom Key: There are times when we experience conflict in our finances because we allow our imaginations to stretch us beyond our means.

The result is a person BEING broke. If a rubber-band is stretched beyond its ability to be stretched the rubber- band will break. The same holds true with regard to our finances when we ALLOW our imaginations to stretch us beyond our means.

 What does this mean?

Emotional Intelligence is one of the keys to financial freedom. The marketers may not want you to know this, but…..

WHATEVER AND WHOMEVER IS SOLD TO US IS SOLD TO OUR EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS FIRST!!!

Advertisements visually (Pictures), audibly (Sound) and through touch (Physically through customer experience) touch us EMOTIONALLY and directs us into a physical exchange of money (which is a transaction).

Now take a glance at the advertisement attached to this blog…..

What is the feeling evoked from this advertisement?

What is being sold to us?

 A FEELING…. AN EMOTION… AN EXPERIENCE…

  • Feelings are external manifestations of an internal emotion.
  • Emotion is an awareness of a feeling state (internal).

Hmm….

WHATEVER AND WHOMEVER IS SOLD TO US IS SOLD TO OUR EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS FIRST. What you pull from you will be pulled into.

 Food for thought…

Competition!!

Image

2 Corn 10:12 – For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

The standard that God has set for your life is the only thing that you should be measuring yourself up against. You do not have to compete with anyone to fulfill your purpose. Comparison to others is a form of competition and competition in the Kingdom results in envy, jealously and strife. All of which are issues of the heart.

Competition is only useful in sporting events, however we have been programmed to compete and jockey for positions our entire lives. As young children many of us grew up in environments saturated in poverty {spiritually & financially}.

These circumstances dramatically impacted our SELF-esteem so the need to establish and cultivate a sense of self worth was highly desired.

In schools of learning… people, places, things, life experiences, junior highs, high schools, colleges, etc… We promote SELF-esteem and SELF-image which is very dangerous..

We need A GOD-esteem and a GOD-image..

Today we stand in a new day, we have been and are being regenerated and transformed into His image. Our being is in Him with the image of yesterday being non-existent. The Kingdom of God need not jockey for employment, careers and business deals. Everything we need to progress is in the house, individually and corporately.

God is not a micro-manager…..

The Parable of the Bags of Gold
(Matthew 25: 14-30) New International Version

14“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.

(BASICALLY… I AM LEAVING THE CRIB, HOLD IT DOWN WHILE I’M OUT).

15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, a each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went AT ONCE and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

Questions to ponder: When you were younger, did you parents ever leave you at the house alone ? Or has your boss ever been gone for the day?

WHAT DID YOU DO?
WHAT DO YOU DO?

Food for thought… Intelligence

Image

Food for thought…

Intelligence: Intelligence has more to do with awareness than it does the accumulation of “book” or “head” knowledge. Intelligence is not how “smart” you are (SORRY); it’s an accumulation (in quality and quantity) of common sense. Common sense is the storehouse where all of our past experiences are stored and filed.

We cannot compare apples to oranges…

Apples and oranges are both fruit, but yet both are DIFFERENT. You and I are both humans, but yet we are both different. We are not “smarter” than one another because we are different. We learn differently, we think differently and we have similar, but different interests.

Hmm…

We all have different talents, skills, and abilities. Though we have standards used to measure scholastic ability in the Earth, these measures do not honestly weigh our “Intelligence.” These measures indicate our ability to RETAIN information that is released to us in the story of our individual lives.

In essence, talent and skill is the natural ability God has deposited on the inside of us and manifests in the Earth. So, a person can be “dumb” if he/she has accumulated a high dosage of “head” or “book” knowledge because he/she maybe only AWARE of his/her experience and no one else’s. Also, if he/she has yet to tap into their natural God-given ability then he or she can be considered as dumb (in a nice way).

Blessings!

MONEY!

MONEY!

Image

Money in its earthy suit can be viewed as paper instruments (or dollar bills) in a printed form of expression.

However…

Money is not spent….. Money has never been spent…
I know.. I know…

What in the world do you mean money is not and has never been spent?

MONEY IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXCHANGED FOR SOMETHING YOU DEEMED AS VALUABLE.

Think about it: The idea of money being spent means that when it’s “spent” it’s gone. Would you agree?

True… True…

Now, does money miraculously vanish from the face of the planet because it leaves your hand?

We tell you, “NO!!!”

Have ever entertained the thought of something or someone sacred leaving your presence and never coming back?

If this were to happened, what would you do?

Hold on for dear life!

If you must hold on to something for dear life, is it truly yours?
If you release something, do you have faith that something greater will be released to you?

If you never released anything, then how can you make room for more?

Remember: God will never leave nor forsake us. He was, is and forever will be the person responsible for releasing money into our hands. If He will never leave nor forsake us, maybe the reason why our money is sporadic and minute is because we left his presence to chase dem dollars.

Or maybe we are holding on to the money is our possession because we don’ trust Our Father?

I can guarantee that anytime you released money from your hand, you received something in advance (before the transaction took place) or you received something after the transaction took place.

What do you place value on?

Hmm…. Think about it.

“Failing” versus “Learning”

Image

Remember this…

We don’t give too much attention to failures (experiences) because AT TIMES people are failing at what they have NOT been called to become or do.

Failures (experiences) are nothing more places of humility…

Hmm….

Why do we give so much attention to a person who is being and doing something they are not?

Hmm…

Are we SIN-CONSCIOUS?

Maybe you perceived yourself “failing” at who God predestined you to become and what He has predestined you to do because you have mislabeled “failing” for “LEARNING.”

Stop trying to grade your own paper!
You are not the teacher, you are the student..

Does the fact of “LEARNING” overshadow the overall vision God has for your life? Do not get stuck in the hallways (or the process), keep your eye stayed on the outcome. Though it tarry, wait for it…

First impressions…

Image

First impressions…

We always remember our firsts…

The first is paramount; the first is a foundation that can be built upon the truth or the first can a foundation that can be built upon a lie.. Who was the master builder who laid the groundwork for your first? You or God?

Who is first?
Who comes first?

Hmm…..

Whatever the case may be, it can quite difficult to unlearn a first..
Our lives are built upon firsts, and these firsts play a leading role in
our perception of people, places and things..

Even when you erase a chalk broad there is always evidence of what was written
first…

The question is, “What first do you recognize as being truth?”

Money: Despise not the day of small beginnings (Part 3)

In this submission, we continue our discussion on Multiplication and Compound Interest. However, in our last discussion we dialogued a bit about the flip side of the coin of money.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

If you have four children in your home, and decide to teach and train them on what needs to be done in the house, what is the outcome of situation?

 A. Multiplication

B. Multiplication

C.  Multiplication

D.  All of the Above

Answer: D.  All of the Above

 Multiplication is Compound Interest.

And you, be ye fruitful, andmultiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. (Genesis9:7)

The Kingdom of God is to be fruitful and MULTIPLY. Not be fruitful and add, not be fruitful and subtract, not be fruitful and divide. We are to be fruitful and MULTIPLY. The ANSWER to a multiplication problem is a PRODUCT, and fruit is the end product of being fruitful. This is not the means to the end, but the means that leads to the beginning of multiplication.

 COMPOUNDINTEREST

Wikipedia’s definition of Compound Interest (We added underline, caps and bold for emphasis):

Compound Interest arises when interest is ADDED to the principal, so that, from that moment on, the interest that has been ADDED also earns interestThis addition of interest to the principal is called compounding.

As we build a case of multiplication being compound interest we will use these terms and meanings to simplify this exercise.

Principal- Amount of the initial investment (ex.an amount borrowed excluding interest).

Interest-A fee paid for by the BORROWER oft he principal.

Compound interest – Interest added to the PRINCIPAL allowing the interest to earn further interest.

Here are the resource links used to compile and connect the thoughts:

 MONEY

Money will and can work with you if have something for money to do. Money works WITH us because money takes on the CHARACTER and PERSONA of the person who it (money) is paired with.

When money is paired with us,money takes on the life we believe to be a reality.

Let’s build a bridge between money and thoughts:If you have four children in your home, and decide to teach and train them on what needs to be done in the house the outcome is that your efforts will be multiplied. No child in the house is left IDLE because all have been taught in the way he/she should go.

The Father’s business has been taught throughout the house, and He is evidence of what has been taught through the thoughts, behaviors and actions of His children.

 COMPOUND INTEREST INSPIRED

Compound Interest: The addition of interest (concerning money) through an initial deposit from Him to and through US.

The Principal is amount of the initial investment (or His Nature) that has been deposited on the inside of us that influences how we work with the money he releases to us.

The Interest the fee paid for by the BORROWER(which is us) of the principal (the initial investment of His Nature). The more interest will acquire concerning His Ways, Words and Pleasures, the greater the Compound InterestThe key words here are Obedience and Sacrifice.

Remember:  Interest rates are determined are by the GOVERNMENT.A high interest rate is the green light that indicates a high cost of borrowing. Though the fee may seem high we can’t get distracted with counting the cost. We must be encouraged by the outcome, and not become discouraged by the process.

What you sow, you will reap…

 Which leads us to…

The Compound Interest added to the PRINCIPAL (initial investment or His Nature) allowing the INTEREST(fee paid for by the BORROWER) to earn further interest.

The greater the interest, the greater the return on the principal (or the initial investment off His Nature that was deposited on the inside of us). Not only the quantity, but more importantly the quality of His Nature influences how we work with the money he releases to us.

Freely we give, freely we receive.
