I wear many hats….. Why?
Hmm….

Question #1: How many hats do you have in your closet of skill sets?
Question #2: Are you a jack of all trades, and a master of none?
Question #3: Why do you wear so many hats?
Question #4: It is by force or is it by choice?

Many of our jobs place us in a position of being a jack of all trades…
A WILD CARD….

In such a case, a wild card wins when it comes to division…
Being a wild card affects your concentration, and follow- through…
Never have we ever witnessed a basketball player halt the follow through of his jump shot to pick up a football to be thrown…

IT DOES NOT HAPPEN!

Although, a basketball player halts the follow- through of his jump shot if:
• The shot is blocked.
• The ball slips out of his hands.
• The referee blows his whistle.
A point guard is a point guard… He “quarterbacks” plays though he has the
ability to rebound. He FOCUSES his energy on running the offense.

I don’t wear many hats, though I have many different colors (expressions) of the same hat.
Training is the hat that best fits who I am… WHO YOU ARE IS YOUR IDENTITY…

Wearing many hats comes with the territory, but when we change the territory within our minds, our circumstances will change.

Let’s take a permanent vacation…

Often times we perceive opportunities as obstacles because we are walking with our eyes open…. naturally…
So… I ask you to close your eyes so we can build together…
First and foremost… Your mind is the workplace, and your mind is the office.

If the workplace is your mind, and your mind is the office then unethical behavior will get you fired from the workplace. Unethical behavior is MENTAL behavior that is not in alignment with your purpose. Being fired from the workplace is a disconnect from the imagination needed to ‘create’ new products to be dispensed into the marketplace.
Once you become a value creator…. The path to financial freedom shines more and more….

Anything or anyone outside of your purpose can be considered as busyness. If you allow your imagination to be married to busyness, you will remain in the state of poverty. So… let’s take a permanent vacation from that state…
Pack your bags… BUT you can’t take EVERYTHING with you…

DOLLARS PER HOUR VS. DOLLARS PER VALUE
It is not the number of hours we put in at the workplace (PHYSICALLY),but the number of hours we put in at the workplace (MENTALLY). The number of hours we put in at the workplace (MENTALLY) allows us to produce VALUE… which is of more significance to our consumers than the number of hours we are present at the workplace (PHYSICALLY).

I repeat: The number of hours we put in at the workplace (MENTALLY) allows us to produce VALUE… which is of more significance to our consumers than the number of hours we are present at the workplace (PHYSICALLY). In order to come into the realization of this, your understanding must be outcome based, and not activity centered.
Activity is good, but is greater when it leads to the ideal outcome desired by the consumer.

Be mindful that VALUE is the outcome (or end result) realized by and perceived in the eyes of the consumer. I once heard a bus driver say, “It don’t matter, I get paid by the hour.”
Yes… It does matter, because we don’t get paid dollars per hour. We get paid dollars per value.

A person who has this kind of belief system is activity-based.
• If this same bus driver clocks in and chooses not to drive her bus, the end result will be the unemployment line.
• If this same bus driver clocks in and chooses to go her own route, the end result will be the unemployment line.
• If this same bus driver clocks in and chooses to go to work in the office of her mind by producing ideas that are of value to her employer, the end result is PROMOTION.

Food for thought…

 

Food for Thought: The ‘heavy’ weight of responsibility cannot be carried by an unregenerate mind. In this case, the responsibility is seen as a burden instead of a light. When we see through a filter of burden, we become bound to the process instead of being bound to purpose.

American Idols: Idolatry promotes a person,place or thing to a higher place of authority that God the Creator.

If I love MY money more than I love MY God then MY money has taken the place of MY God.

If I love MY house more than I love MY God then MY house has taken the place of MY God.

If I love MY car more than I love MY God then MY car has taken the place of MY God.

If I love MY job more than I love MY God then MY job has taken the place of MY God.

If I love MY past more than I love MY God then MY past has taken the place of MY God.

If I love MY present more than I love MY God then MY present has taken the place of MY God.

If I love MY future more than I love MY God then MY future has taken the place of MY God.

Exodus 20:3-4 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We must be sure that our hearts are right towards him before writing THE Vision. If we choose not to get our hearts right towards Him, what we write will not be righteous. IT will be A vision (a vain imagination) that will cause division (separation from The Lord). He is the Author and Finisher of our faith, not US.

Also…

We must realize that the vision is not limited to finances, but touches every area of life. Once THE Vision is written on the tablets of our hearts, we must activate what was written through application (FAITH & OBEDIENCE).

Maybe the only time we “COMPETE” for job positions in the marketplace is when we haven’t experienced a revelation of who we are,who we’ve been called to serve and our purpose.

Hmm…

Maybe the only time we “COMPETE” for customers in the marketplace is when we haven’t experienced a revelation of who we are, who we’ve been called to serve and our purpose.We don’t have to compete against one another in life or in business because we all have been sent to serve a specific target market.

Many individuals and businesses stunt their own growth because of the fear factor. The thought of sharing “trade secrets”with a “competitor” is an action some rather not take. ——– Some have yet to make this purchase :0 —– They have yet to buy into this notion.

If we perceive our “allies” as “competitors” we see them as opposition, adversaries and opponents. This is a”wedge” that separates us from walking in agreement with each other,and with that decision we make a conscious or unconscious effort to separate ourselves from purpose.

Wisdom Key:  Light was and is separated from darkness.We are all are and have been in a state of darkness. At times, we see this state as light because we are and were walking with our eyes open (naturally). No one in the right state of mind will choose to go back into darkness when she  has been introduced to revelation.

 Trade Secrets

Trading secrets is the exchanging of information that allows us to come into the realization of our true identity in our personal lives, careers and businesses. Trading secrets are transactions between two or more parties, and benefit all the parties involved.

Food for thought: When shopping…… If we are to get the right size and have the look that fits who we are becoming, we need to take someone with us when we are looking for clothing (Our Identity). Shopping in this expression is “trading secrets.”

 Note: It is imperative that you don’t go shopping by yourself.

All sizes don’t fit us. There are times when we have on clothing that feels comfortable because our past is a place of comfort.  Often times, comfort is the doorway to complacency.

•  Where is your personal life headed?
• Where is your career going?
• Where is your business going?

First things first…

What do you desire to achieve in your career and business?

There are many success measurements when we speak about career and business. For me, these measurements have proven to be very effective measurements when considering career and business.

• Customer Acquisition – Attracting customers who make purchases.
• Customer Retention – Repeat buyers; customers who have turned into consumers of your product.
• Product Quality – Products that meet sand exceed the need (or demand) of your target market.
• Product Quantity – The amount of product produced that meets and exceeds the need (or demand) of your target market.
• Revenue – Income (in money and knowledge) generated from doing business.
• DCOS –Direct cost of producing product; how much does it cost you to make your products?

Go ahead and choose a success measurement.

Once you determine what you desire to achieve, then you can determine what store (person or business) you will visit.

In terms of career and business: Determine what type of suit or clothing you need by allowing someone who is seasoned to assess how you look.  This example speaks in reference to the current state of your career and business.

A suit (or clothing) speaks of identity.  A suit looks and fits better when it’s tailored to the specific shape, size and body type of the person is it bought for.
