We’re gearing up for Providence Celtic Unity Day on Friday, September 12!
At Proteential, we’ll be introducing our Characteristics of Care program.
Our mission is to help 338 students understand and appreciate the qualities of care, encouraging them to apply these values in their daily lives and relationships both in school and beyond.
By getting involved, students can help create a positive culture, boosting their sense of ownership over their behavior and driving change within our school environment!
Wish us luck and keep us in your prayers!
If you or someone you know is interested in joining our team or would like us to visit your school for an interactive education and training session, check out more details here:
We have to take a moment to shout out Joshua Weathersby, Caleb Weathersby, Elijah Moffett, and Corrine Thomas for their incredible work tonight!
What an amazing team effortโwe are truly gelling!
We spent some quality time in reflection and visualization, then wrapped it up by creating our vision and affirmation boards for our partners at L.I.T. for Life. It was such a motivating way to gear up for a positive school year!
Lastly, we explored some thought-provoking questions to help us uncover our purposes.
Huge thanks to Rehoboth International Ministries, the Joliet community and all the amazing parents for supporting our Glow and Grow: Back to School Celebration!
As we embark on the journey of a new school year, we want to emphasize that education transcends mere content deliveryโitโs fundamentally about building meaningful relationships. These connections inspire curiosity, foster engagement, and create a lasting impact in the lives of our students.
Join us as we explore the profound influence of strong relationships between educators and students on academic success and personal growth. We will also highlight the essential role of collaboration among educators, recognizing that supportive teacher-to-teacher connections cultivate a thriving professional environment that nurtures innovation and resilience.
In our upcoming sessions, weโll engage in cultural storytelling and innovative teaching methods, examining strategies that incorporate culturally responsive pedagogy and interactive, technology-driven approaches that center student voices. Participants will leave feeling inspired, equipped with practical insights and effective tools to establish meaningful connections that elevate the educational experience. Our focus on relationship-building aims to empower educators with renewed motivation and strategies to create transformative learning environments for all students.
We invite you to connect with us for keynote addresses, speaking engagements, and training sessions designed to harness the power of connection in education. Together, we can create a ripple effect that enhances both teaching and learning.
As we prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, it is crucial for us as parents to take proactive measures to support our children’s educational journey. To assist in this endeavor, we invite you to participate in one of our interactive education and training sessions on August 4th, 11th, and 18th.
These sessions will explore the concept of unconscious competence and its practical applications in fostering childrenโs learning and development. Parents will gain valuable insights into the four stages of competence, highlighting the importance of recognizing and nurturing their child’s progress at each stage.
By understanding how skills are developed and internalized, parents can implement effective strategies that promote healthy learning habits, improve academic performance, and encourage positive behavior.
Join us as we empower ourselves to better support our children in their educational experiences!
Upon registration, you will have the opportunity to select the date that best suits your schedule.

Mr. Crim and I recently had a thought-provoking discussion about the closure of Job Corps and its implications for the future. We explored the history of the program, my personal involvement, and strategies to support those impacted by the closure, including former graduates. If you know of any resources or organizations in Will and Cook Counties that can provide job or career training, employment opportunities, or housing assistance, please fill out the Google form by clicking on the link below.
The Joliet Job Corps Resource Hub is a comprehensive resource designed to support Job Corps students who have been displaced by the recent closure, as well as past graduates seeking new opportunities. This platform will provide a curated list of job and career development resources, including employment opportunities, training programs, and professional development workshops. In addition, the hub will include housing resources to assist individuals in finding stable living arrangements during their transition. By connecting users with essential services and support systems, the Joliet Job Corps Resource Hub aims to empower former Job Corps participants as they navigate their next steps and build successful futures.
We utilize interactive learning, writing activities and summary/reflection videos to help teens discover, develop and apply the transferable skills necessary to be successful in all areas of life by engaging them in a transformative experience.
