Shout out to my brother Jeffrey Grimes and his wife Beatriz Grimes, our first guest speakers for this year’s summer mentoring program. They taught us how to run the race of life well! This dynamic duo helped us identify obstacles we need to push pass in the race of life to accomplish our goals and dreams. 

 And…. 

They provided us with a tool kit of things to do to run the race of life.

Este dúo dinámico nos ayudó a identificar obstáculos que debemos superar en la carrera de la vida para lograr nuestros objetivos y sueños.  

Y… Nos proporcionaron un kit de herramientas de cosas que hacer para correr la carrera de la vida.

Yesterday we accompanied our partners, ICE & FIRE Leadership Academy to Springfield. We toured the state’s capital and had some good conversations with state representatives “Dee” Avelar and Natalie Manley. 

We also had some great food!

We met with approximately 40 4th-7th graders at Fairmont Middle school to introduce, “Proteential” and spoke about this year’s summer program. Our kids learned the importance of decision making (in school and life) and how to improve their decision making…. 

 Through interactive education and training. 

Dr. Karla J. Guseman (Joliet Township High School Superintendent), Mr. Cage and Joliet Central students enjoying themselves at Joliet Central’s 6th Annual Kermes.

Mr. Cage teamed up with Junior Achievement of Chicago to provide education and career exploration at Tibbott Elementary.

Mr. Cage facilitates a restorative conversation focusing on the topics of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and responsible decision making.
