We must think like “BIG” corporations which I believe is a different mode of thinking from a traditional entrepreneurial mindset. Every “BIG” corporation that I can think of offers a service…. a product.. .. AND a product for rent (a lease or license).
This is where I believe small business owners fail short because they invest a great amount of time in the day to day operations… BUT some do not offer a product for sale, nor do they offer a product for rent (a lease or license).
For example..
If you rent a apartment, there is a deposit made before you take up residence and then you must pay rent MONTHLY… The owner also provides service to you when you need something for the apartment…
Here are a couple more examples…
Do you pay a ‘MONTHLY’ lease or bill for you cable, car, etc… etc?
Do you have a ‘MONTHLY’ subscription to a magazine?
WE MUST GET FREE….otherwise we could have remain in our jobs….
